Northgate Innovations Launches High Powered Gaming PC's At the QuakeCon Gaming Show
CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2002-- Northgate Innovations Inc. (OTCBB:NGTE), today announced that the company is exhibiting at the premier gaming show, QuakeCon 2002, in Mesquite, Texas, featuring the PowerHouse(TM) Gamer, the ultimate gaming PC starting at $1,800, and the Integra(TM) 2 as the "Dream gaming PC" starting at $1,099.
Both the Northgate PowerHouse(TM) and the Integra(TM) 2 are strategically located in the VIA booth at the main entrance of QuakeCon, providing the highest level of visibility and visitors with a chance for a live demonstration and first hand direct gaming experience. PowerHouse(TM) Gamer features lots of raw power ranging from the latest Intel(R) 2.8 GHz processor, VIA P4X400 North Bridge, DDR 400 memory, 533 FSB support, AGP 8X graphics powered by the latest Geforce Graphics and/or ATI latest release 9700, 6 USB 2.0 ports, FireWire, Combo DVD/CDR-W drive, and lots of internal PCI and RAID storage expansion.
The PowerHouse(TM) Gamer contains an oversized ATX 400W power supply, and two primary cooling fans, one directly providing thermal control over the motherboard and located immediately above it. PowerHouse is offered in an attractive black tower case matched with black floppy, keyboard, mouse, and 17-inch LCD Display.

The Integra(TM) is also a TV and digital film producer, a recording studio, an FM Radio, a digital photo editor and library, a DVD Home Theater with surround sound offered as standard feature, a remote controlled player, and wireless operated PC.
The Integra(TM) 2 is highly expandable for gaming add-on peripherals using 4 high speed USB 2.0 ports, and one FireWire port. Users can expect a complete "plug n play" installation in just a few moments with convenience and ease. The Integra(TM) features a high resolution 15-inch or 17-inch TFT LCD Display and a very small footprint, nearly 40% less space than traditional PCs, measuring 15-inches in height, 15-inches in width and 7-inches in length with the base.
