just a quick note here as i'm back from work...and some serious "highway thought"...<g>

i am more or less disregarding the COT here. it's pretty much in middle ground i think, and is only clouding the issues. I think it's probably a mistake to try to draw too many conclusions and extrapolate them into a trading plan when the readings are not at extremes...

besides, i distinctly remember you dismissing these reports only a few weeks ago...and your analysis and #s bore you out. why the shift here...now?

hoped you're heeled over and under full sail right about now bro...i'm headed back out...i'll try to check in later.

good thoughts today all.

Yes the ES specs are better than 4-1 short. And new this week, the NQ specs are now short as well (not quite 2-1 short). This is all as of Tuesday, which of course was a swing low and sure helps to explain why we squeezed, so much for manipulation.

Edit -I should add that I have not found greaty predictive value in the small spec ES positions. As a matter of fact, they have been decent trend followers. The NQ specs however I find are brutal.
