Aren't you the fellow who complains about being the victim of ad hominem attacks?

Thomas is an atheist who puts down the Bible, but he's still OK with you cause he's down on the Jews. I got that. Sounds like you consider being an enemy of Jews to be the most important doctrine in your perverted version of Christianity. Wonder what denomination preaches that message - oh yeah, that's one of those questions you have a problem with.

As for me I avoid issues of Christian doctrine ever since I got in an extended debate with that Calvinist guy from Canada. I learned from that there's no point in arguing about such things - but I don't see hatred of Jews as an essential Christian doctrine. It might be a Muslim doctrine though - wouldn't surprise me to see you convert someday.

Time to repost my questions again:

Since we are asked to embrace the teachings of the Talmud and various other writings and teachings of the Jewish people,...

Nobody ever asked me to "embrace the Talmud". Now when it comes to other writings and teachings of the Jewish people, I guess that would include the Bible. I was taught to embrace that as a child, both at home and at church.
Emile, has any one ever asked you to "embrace the Talmud"? I doubt it. I'll take your typical non-response as a No. So what is the basis of your complaint? Even if there are a small minority of Jews who believe the things you claim they do, why should it bother you or me or anyone else? I can think of one reason - if you have a lack of faith in your own Christian beliefs, then I imagine the fact that someone disagrees might be seriously troubling to you. In other words, you may be worried that a negative view of Christ might be right. Is that the case?

PS: Any one else who reads this and who has been asked to embrace the Talmud or any other writings and teachings of the Jewish people, not including the Bible, as Emile claims "we" are, please reply and tell me about it.

That invitation is still open. No replies yet. I'll keep you posted, Emile.
