Hi dj,
to whom? To the society back home? to the new home but typically they would not be desirable in the old homestead either. This appears to be a problem anywhere when you have an influx of refugees whose entrance into another state is 'expedited'. Things don't get checked or cannot be checked. I'm not talking about normal immigration processes where credentials can be better verified (hopefully). The grab bag of refugee asylum may after all harbour a 'Gom Jabbar'.

As far as immigration in general 1 million new immigrants are expected in the GTA (Toronto) over the next 10-15 years. My house ought to hold its value :o). I doubt I would do nearly as well in an aging population of old fogies.

regards
Kastel
