I'm with you on JDSU. I think that the possibility of JDSU being one of the true casualties of the bear is very strong.

As far as the strong buys...well, apparently there was some strong money flow into the stock last spring. Maybe the big boys realized their mistake and are doing the upgrades so that they can get out of JDSU without losing everything. If I was looking to buy something I wouldn't be giving it an upgrade which could inflate the price. If I was looking to sell, I would.

When you look at the economic environment, you have to expect that mfg companies will be looking to cut costs in both process and components. And the attitude of the Japanese vendors is much more accomodating that that of JDSU's.
