<<So now that you ask, yes, I'm in favor of reparations >>

So Oprah Winfey and Michael Jordan should get a trillion dollars because they never had a chance to get ahead?

FaultLine, I'm in favour of reparations too. For all those who suffer 'collateral damage' in attacks on the Matrix of Malevolence. Also, for those whose human rights are ignored by imprisonment without trial and other abuses of power.

The USA [in the form it was then] abused the human rights of Africans who were bought, enslaved, transported to the colony in North America and held captive.

The slaves from Africa did not get their right to phone a lawyer and neither did they get the declaration of human rights read to them. If they fought against being taken hostage, I dare say they got a good whuppin'. Things were different then. Just as uncompensated state violence and collateral damage is acceptable now but won't be in times to come.

Compensation should be paid to people who are damaged now, not to the alleged descendants of alleged slaves by people whose ancestors had zero to do with slavery. It would be impossible to even approximately identify who should be compensated by whom for what and how much. I don't believe there's a case for it.

The fact is that slavery and cannibalism were fine in those days. Around the world, barbarism ruled. We are better now, but not a lot. The WAT is creating new victims of state violence who should be compensated by those making the mistakes or being careless.

The rules of conduct by states and protection of people around the world needs to be better than an anarchical fight for power among more or less nation states and terrorist groups with more or less support from other states.

We the Sheople demand civilization. Right now, demands for compensation in 50 years are being created, when civilization is more common and people look back at the barbarity of today just as they look back at the barbarity of the slave and cannibalism days.
