I take it then that your would be doubly uncertain of investing, at this time,
in any of the silver shares. And that you would view those companies such
as Apex and Paas, which are dependent on a higher silver price prior to being
able to get into significant production, as very dangerous at their current levels.

Also, a propos of Butler's letter, which I have posted here, it will be interestng
to see if it has the effect of discouraging future short selling raids. As Butler
noted, there was no market reason for a 40 cent drop. Since it was a clear
manipulation, charting it, as if it reflected basic market forces, is inaccurate.
Therefore looking at the charts for advice on future price movement is
not helpful. If this is the case, as I believe it is, silver should recover, soon, to its level
prior to this raid. Then, again as Butler noted, the question is, will the crooks do it again
or will they be quietly chastised and threatened by the authorities.
