That black vs white reparations case is going to have to wait awhile. There is at least one prior case to be heard. Many of the defendants are probably living in America.

I want to go up to the closest white person and say, 'You can't understand this, it's a black thing

Problem with that argument is that it can't win. If you want someone to give you something that you can't take by force, you have to use persuasion. Note that under "force" I put law as well as physical force.

They don't have the physical strength to overwhelm the rest of us, they don't have a legal remedy, so they have to use persuasion.

So far I am not persuaded.

Slavery was horrible, but I did not do it. Racism is horrible, but I am not (not very, not overtly) racist. Everything I have my husband and I worked for. We did not take anything from them and we have nothing to return to them.

It is very, very weird to me. No, I just don't get it. It seems like the madness of crowds.

No conversation is possible there.

It's also pretty clear no conversation is possible here so let's drop it.
