Nice job with the corrections, Lazy.

Rest assured that if it weren't for d.taggert, (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=17890092) you'd be in the running for RW Clown of the Day honors.

Colin Powell, in case no one noticed, no longer has the president's ear. Many of us who have followed his pseudo-Republican's pseudo-career since the Gulf War are not the least bit surprised. His State Department is a bigger nest of anti-Americanism than when Dean Atchison and Alger Hiss ran wild there. And he has not only failed to clean it up, he has failed to recognize the problem.

The net result is that when his chance came: The recent Israeli defense against the Palastinian terrorists in the West Bank, he gave his president all the wrong advice, made him look like a fool, and then made a fool of himself. Had he ever been given elected office, he would have done all this on a far grander scale. So now he's a figurehead, and Condi Rice, Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld advise the president on the hostile world, and how America is to survive in it. Thank God for America. Thank God for the president. Their solid advice will continue to guide him on the path of being one of the greatest world heros since Winston Churchill.

It is the continuation on this path that is driving the American left crazy, and making their propaganda even more personal, more hateful, than we even thought possible...
