Hello Snowshoe, let me ask a question, 'does the mayor of New York have the authority to deposit city purse with a Japanese bank?'.

Let me answer the same question, 'no, not unless I checked with my superiors in the political party, in the government and with the financial authorities'.

The sum of USD 800 mm is small matter to Citi, and smaller still for Japan's JGB market.

On the flip side of C in trouble, it could be that Japan banking is in imminently greater difficulty, and if so, money may suddenly be called home, and if so ...

Either way, black helicopters will fly.

Let us simply watch and wait, as we have been doing so well over the past 30 some months :0)

We in HK are at Typhoon #1 flag, waiting for revision to #3, when all hell will break loose. No boat trip today, and only DVD watching, music listening, eating and drinking.
