oh, that's an easy one! if both TA and FA indicated a bottom at the same time, it would be too easy for everyone to read it. mr market cannot allow that.

IMO, we will bottom this fall but retest in the spring. I think this for several reasons, but it fits the 29-33 pattern very well imho. That retest will be in the face of slowly accelerating corporate e growth, and will indeed finally bring pe's for the sp under the historic average. It will be very abnormal for pe's to be "low" at the bottom, with low rates and low inflation. The most basic fundamental market theory will show a market that will be the most undervalued ever on the retest.(ie, when the sp pe around 7 in the late 70's, inflation was running around 7% and accelerating to 10%+).

Where will the late fall bottom be? 6400 and 1000 make the most sense.

Maybe that is how this will all settle out. Maybe not.
