You probably don't put much stock in Gephardt's words because he wasn't lying. He REALLY WANTS a depression. He REALLY BELIEVES he can bamboozle the public if there is one. But you people are so used to your leaders lying all the time, you can't see the significance of one of them letting the truth slip out.
