Maybe the fed has a bailout package waiting for the people who spent money they didn't have because of the low interest rates. Have you checked out a Best Buy supplement from the Sunday paper lately? They are currently offering 0% interest financing for 12 months on computers, and recently had an 18 month 0% option on televisions over $399. I wonder how many who should not be buying now are taking advantage of this to defer the painful moment and buy that 52" HDTV they've been coveting?
