Steve, Re: "You got a new P4 system; are you going to join the lawsuit against iNteL?"

Why would I? I've gotten all the performance I expected out of my new system. I am very pleased with the results, and FWIW, I previously had a Pentium III 800MHz system.

And to be honest, Steve, all the nonsense about this lawsuit isn't going to amount to anything. As I presume you already know, performance in a personal computer is very subjective, and amounts to many different complex factors, not all of them relevant to the CPU.

It's hardly worth arguing, though. Performance means different things to different people, and almost everyone runs a slightly different workload. If you think that Intel does not provide you with the performance you need to do your work or pleasure, then don't buy an Intel based system. It's as simple as that; I don't know why you think you need to continue to add facetious innuendos to an already moot argument.
