The truth hurts.

Dear Mr. Van Eck:

I am appalled that you keep praising, saluting, and applauding the likes of Robert Rubin and Larry Summers, these two perverts and sociopathic criminals who rigged the gold market as well as other markets directly caused the loss of one million dollars or 90% of my pension fund. I can’t help but distinctly get the impression that anyone graduated from or associated with Ivy League universities can do no wrong, based on your myopic opinion. The sleaze that emanates from these schools wind up controlling Wall Street as well as the government and are definitely responsible for the eight trillion dollars of losses on Wall Street not counting the trillions of dollars of losses here and around the world in additional suffering.

We’re talking about world-class criminals. Maybe you should go back to school, somewhere in the mid West, any community college will do, and learn about ethics and a sense of morality. You won’t get that out of the Northeast power structure that has controlled this country for 2+ hundred years. This same group has engineered all of the wars; all of the recessions, depressions, mass murders and mass theft of wealth from the people ever since this so called civilization was established. It’s time for a day of reckoning. Robert Rubin, the sleaze bag from Harvard, former cabinet member under the most corrupt administration in US history by a wide margin, repeatedly blurted out before TV cameras in the mid 90’s that “we should sell some gold to help the poor countries” of course he never explained nor was asked on camera how could the “poor” countries benefit from destruction of their mining industry or the commodity industries in general by dumping leased gold on the market and thereby depressing the price. Either he is terribly naïve and stupid or terribly evil knowing full well the consequences of this action. I choose the latter description because after all he’s a grad of Harvard and should know the true meaning of his statements. Properly translated, this is what he said. “We should sell some gold so that I and my cronies on Wall Street and City Bank can get filthy rich at the expense of the poor countries, the hundreds of mining companies and thousands of investors. We can dump thousands of tons of leased gold on the market to keep the price going down and at the same time take out billions of dollars of derivatives to augment our profits. There’s no risk since I as US Treasurer can support the entire maneuver, and then we can take the money, put most of it off shore or wherever and put the rest in the Harvard Endowment Fund which is fully tax deductible.” “We can do all this without risk because the US Treasury and Greenspan will back us up. It’s a sure thing.” As a result of this action, the Endowment was increased to 19 billion from 4 billion dollars and Summers bought his way in as President of Harvard.

With these two professional thieves and liars, along with their Wall Street and Harvard cronies, can as directors, control the endowment fund, right the direction of markets and by front loading their own investments get even richer. This is exactly what they did. It is probably worse than that. Is it the success of their crimes that you admire so much or is it simply the fact that they are members of the Harvard elite? I can remember that in the mid 1950’s the University of Kansas overwhelmed and whipped Ivy League school debate teams including the rig-masters from Harvard and went on to win the nationals. That million dollars that I lost in the market since 1996 is now part of the Harvard endowment, against my wishes. Therefore, in the interest of justice the only right thing to do is for Harvard to give it all back plus interest and penalties. Maybe with all that love and admiration you have for Harvard people you can convince them to do just that. Naturally being so well educated and enlightened, they would want to be reasonable. If they refuse then maybe they should be run out of business for bad faith. I suspect that they would much rather continue churning out thousands of MBA’s and lawyers so they can continue to maintain a stranglehold on the economy, continue rigging the markets and stealing from shareholders, not to mention controlling the governments in this country and elsewhere. That 19 billion dollar endowment represents “hot” money. Even a cretin can figure that out. It was obtained illegally period. You don’t go from 4 to 19 billion in several years without gross conspiracy, fraud and money laundering causing it to happen. If Harvard had a conscience they could realize that. Hey, corrupt institutions never change and we don’t expect slime to turn to gold. They have been in control too long. The recent bail out of Citigroup and J.P. Morgan by the US Treasury confirms the magnitude of crimes committed; 25 trillion dollars worth of derivatives are involved.

I read that secret loans were provided and the derivative risks are to be assumed by the US government. I can’t imagine a happy outcome. It’s obvious to me and many others that Rubin, Summers and Greenspan as well as all of those at Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan who engineered these scams should be wearing stripes for a long time. They deserve the gold medal for crimes of the century. As an occasional subscriber of your newsletter, I would strongly suggest that instead of covering up and praising the likes of these described above that you point fingers at criminal behavior and name names.

The following is an excerpt from my favorite newsletter, The International Forecaster. “Harvard is an investment network. Rather than pay taxes, they pay a much smaller portion to a school that is masterful at using government to further the interest of the network. Harvard is a significant leader in the economy that is not allowed to lose.
Rubin was on the endowment board before joining the Clinton administration. Summers was at Harvard before going into government. The endowment increased from $4 billion at the beginning of the Clinton administration and at the end it was $19 billion, after which Summers was made President. Based on what they did in Russia and at HUD, and how their advisory work and appointees dovetailed with what the endowment was doing, I believe Harvard is intentionally responsible for the financial holocaust.” I fully agree with this conclusion. How about you? A partial punishment would consist of banishment of this university from having any connection or influence in Government for at least 100 years.
