Boy, that Chinaman is a pain in the ?x(*^#.

However, I'm not sure about this bit, "The world wants us to drive faster so the motor will cool off."

They do not want us to pull over for repairs. They need our engine to keep going, but realize that it has overheated. They figure that if we dump enough money into it to go faster, then it will keep cool, and last until they can get their car fixed. They still want to win a race.
