I'd want to see more detail on allowing corporations to deduct dividends. The idea seems to favor older, more established companies, rather than newer, growth oriented ones. I don't think that a tax law that favors old money over new is that great. Better to eliminate or drastically reduce the corporate income tax, which would have the effect of not taxing dividends twice, but would also be more helpful to smaller, newer, growth oriented companies (which typically reinvest their cash flow to grow the business).
