Daily Brickbat Absurd news bites, served fresh every day. By Charles Oliver Tilting at Windmills (8/19) Workers plan to build 47 giant windmills this fall in the Moosic Mountain Ridge. The project will make Pennsylvania the leading producer of clean, wind-based electricity east of the Mississippi?unless environmentalists put a stop to it . Some local environmental groups say they support wind power, but that the windmills could change the character of the mountain range. Others say their complaints are just a case of NIMBYism.
