It's an absurd question, the obvious answer is YES. China has WMD, many of which are aimed at the US...we would not attack unless we were the target of their aggression.

It certainly is NOT an absurd question, and your response is nothing short of bizarre. Ten years ago we got involved when Kuwait was the target. There could most definitely be targets of China that would trigger our involvement. Obviously, for us to enter a conflict with China there would have to be an awful lot at stake.

Your suggestion that we should not be concerned about Iraq unless WE are being targeted is not only ridiculous, but foolhardy. In fact, I think you must be kidding.
