"" but I think its hardly fair to characterize the Jpost as "starting" the massacre story, which implies authorship. ""

You're right, but that was how I recalled it but could be wrong as to which publication authored it or started it etc etc....they all jumped on it like a bunch of idiots and just went with the flow I guess.

You maybe recall my position....I wanted the UN inspectors to have access.I still believe it was a mistake not to allow them in regardless of the erroneous reports....but it's an issue well past further discussion IMO.

And you guys are right about the apologies too.I would be livid if my country were accused of something like that.

We had a Jewish fellow killed here awhile back, and the accusations of anti-Semitism in Canada were rampant. It went all the way to Israel and back, with the accused being labeled a " skinhead " etc etc...only to find out later he had a black girlfriend who was with him at the time and it was an isolated non-hate related unfortunate crime carried out by an a$$hole with a violent record as long as my arm.

The CJC and BB made a few statements early on that I believe they regret today, and if not they should.I was not impressed, and likely the hundreds, if not thousands, of those who sent their sympathies from all corners and all backgrounds in the country were not either. But that’s another story we'll just have to learn to live with, eh?

Regards,

KC
