I was taught since I was a small girl that real estate is not being made any more, and that it's value is
immeasurable. I went to school and obtained a license to sell real estate in the 70s only to give that license up in order to raise my children. I have managed to make good real estate investments based on a combination of my ability to listen to and learn from my elders, hard work, desire to own, an enterprising attitude, and a head start in finding and taking advantage of real estate buying opportunities.

Neither Slick Clinton or George Bush had anything to do with that. No president has. Why you bring up my political inclinations is a mystery, but since you did, people forget the fact that our country has allowed the common man to be a land owner with all the rights that go along with that privilege. The ability to privately own land is the envy of the world, and most people wouldn't know what to do with that kind of freedom. Hopefully our President, unlike the last administration, will help change that sad reality.

The ability to own real estate in America is available to
anyone capable of reading. All it takes is desire and a willingness to work hard.

The fact that MSFT built next door to my town didn't hurt either. Everyone wants to live here. Understandably so, it is beautiful. ;)
