What is the big deal? I have read the NY TImes everyday since I was 17 (it's many years). I recall their coverage of McCarthy (Eugene), McGovern, Vietnam, WATERGATE (they were way ahead of the curve on VM and WG). In the past several years I have personally felt that they were not as courageous as they used to be. Maybe they are wrong, maybe current management is more left of center then they used to be. (I remember Haines brutality WRT Clinton) but so what. They report you decide.
