Bruce, what's happening is the market is not going down like most technicians and just about everyone including me expected. The sentiment is really shifting and the shorts are beginning to get very nervous.

If the Market doesn't go down soon, there could be a major rise of 10-15% from here, with a feeling that "I better buy or I may have missed the best deals." CFKR has nearly doubled in a week, so those stocks that have been beaten down have the potential to really go up once they have a good earnings report. You're right, look at ESST after the Barron's tank job ----- up about 45%.

Of course this could all be a short-term "bear set-up" but it's going to get harder and harder to hold the Market down in the future if this rally doesn't stop soon and turn down.

What we may be seeing is the sentiment change from "nervous as heck" to I don't want to "miss the bottom." That is a VERY powerful force!
