There used to be a chain around here called the Golden Corral. I haven't seen one in a long time. They had something called "broasted" chicken, which was to die for. All of their restaurants didn't have a "broaster," whatever that was. There was one near the EPA facility in North Carolina and I was always looking for an excuse to visit there. I don't remember KFC ever having chicken other than fried. It's been a long time since I've had it. I always pull the skin off chicken, which takes with it the breading and the spices, so it hardly matters which brand I eat. Rather than driving so far to KFC, try one of those Peruvian chicken shacks, pollo a la brasa, they call them. Best chicken around. There must be some of those places near you. They're all over here.
