That VXN is now bordering on terrifying. -g/ng

That has to be the fastest melt, with so little gain, that we have ever seen for this indicator. At 46.5, it is back to levels we hit on the way down for VXN (i.e., as price rose) in the November/2001 rise.

It is nearly a straight shot down. I would love for someone to calculate the discount that it is trading at vis a vis what it is based on -- NDX volatility. In other words, it would be very interesting to see a chart showing the spread between NDX historical volatility and VXN. I would bet a beer that this is the widest spread we have ever seen.
