I think the shorts are already scrambling judging from some of the spikes. In fact I think that this rally is primarily being driven by shorts covering. I heard you couldn't borrow BRCM a few days ago at some brokers. The problem is that it becomes increasingly more difficult to keep a squeeze going. This is true of BRCM because insiders are continuously unloading their shares. If they weren't you wouldn't have selling into to indexes surges. I couldn't be wrong once the short done covering, there won't be very liquid underneath these prices which are fairly lofty given the bleak future.
