That same chain in China received an award for their pigeon recipe and a medal from the government for conservation and innovation in new sources of protein. What is wrong with pigeon? We ate the passenger pigeon out of house and home. (Burp) <species oops> The best food you could eat would be moose, trout, partridge, whitefish and pickerel. All local wild foods. Not much different from pigeon. When we got here, Indians would eat anything. Tweety birds, crow, beaver, bear, snakes, rats, moles, literally anything that moved. I think they drew the line at skunks, but I am sure they ate porcupine, They thought we were kind of strange because we didn't.
