I haven't been around much the past few days to follow the discussion, so apologies if this has already been discussed.....but what about Kuwait? Have they indicated they would not allow us to use their land as a conduit for ground troops?

Also, with the wide open spaces in Iraq and the water shoreline, amphibious and airborne groups of small strike forces would seem to be doable as a way to establish bases. Once you have protectable bases, you can fly in what you need directly to Iraq. On a smaller scale this was done in Afghanistan.
