Pssst.... they have cows and anthrax in Texas too. In fact the Ames strain came from there. That's the strain that was used in the U.S. attacks.

Oops, I hear the black helicopters coming. Thump, thump, thump....

Aaaark!

Ah for the days of habeas corpus, real freedom, when one could ride a bicycle on a beautiful sunny day without the police arresting us and gaoling us for not wearing an approved helmet...

Thanks for bringing up such a painful subject. It grieves me that my little girl will never know the joy of fighting with her sister over who gets to ride in the back window of the car, just under the glass...

And by the way he reacted you'd think I had grabbed one of those face-punching cops by the gonads the night we got pulled over after leaving the airport without my daughter riveted into her car seat. (For the first and only time in her young life)

And I won't even get into fear that a psycho cop put into me one sunny Sunday morning for stopping (at least 50 meters away) to enjoy an impromtu geyser from a toppled fire hydrant.

It tell you, the increasingly suffocating nature of the this stuff gets my wandering American soul into the mood to search out yet another frontier... tell me there is someplace left to run short of inter-galactic travel... Honestly, I have always toyed with the idea the NZ was somehow different.
