Personally, I would like to see African nations stand up and take their share of the blame for the trade in human lives they instituted...[they're] mighty slow in condemning the CURRENT slavery that is taking place in Sudan and other African nations.

As I'm sure you suspect, Hawk, it's a common (perhaps among the foremost of) legal strategies, albeit on a grandiose scale spanning thousands of miles and hundreds of years: finding and pursuing those with the deepest pockets.

A lot of Arabs were involved in the slave trade too. They shoulf go after Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, ...

Let's see how much luck they have with them.
