David I agree that carefully targeted air strikes and/or covert ops might be a lot less messy but they also are less likely to either get rid of Saddam or eliminate the WMD program in Iraq.

All this focus on Saddam concerns me, as the focus ought to be on the WMD. Getting rid of Saddam doesn't address the real problem, as it is a fact we don't know who will follow him.
