My point was not how much they make, it was the fact they can vote themselves raises (no check and balance). The problem I have with congress person's compensation is there generous pension plan for very little time served. It's also their, "Do as I say, not as I do" behavior that I find hard to swallow. BTW, I believe the President's Salary was raised to $400K, signed by Clinton effective when Bush took office.
