AA, I have no doubt that there will be some scary backfilling, but

I'm glad that Mr. Market is allowing me to exit some positions that have been seriously underwater. It was tough holding a bunch of shares of ORCL with a cost basis of about $11 with you announcing the end of the world, as I respect your opinion Big Time!

Maybe, those funnymetals do have an influence. I don't think it's an accident that the bottom occurred about the time that it was confirmed that that the eps were going to exceed the prior year for the first time in seven quarters, and exceed them big time. Now we are going up against the quarter with 9/11 with the obvious result.

That said, we have to deal with some issues relating to non-eps matters. However, my belief is that your credit bubble scenario will not be a problem until the Fed starts raising rates. I believe that we get to the next obvious step in the scenario. Until then, the eps comparisons are going to be duck soup.

I just can't understand why all seem to be ignoring the Tommybear scenario or the 94% gain in two months in 1932 before the big plunge. I guess I just object to what seems like an overwhelming bear slant on this great thread.

Just a view from the Fox, and I know GFM
