The performance with Xeon MP is "here". I'm willing to bet that it will be a long time before there are competitive products in this arena.

It would appear that you are alluding to hammer, but what was the message from SUN last week? It's not just price, it's not just performance, it's "Intel" customers want. For Hammer, it's still a long ways off and it's even further from being "Intel".
