It's one of those subjects that brings on my natural inclination toward verbosity.

It would be shocking to have a verbose person here, Steve. :^)

Foreign Aid is one of those things, like Apple Pie and Motherhood, that everyone is supposed to be for. The "Taught a man to fish", line has been overworked on the other side.

My "Libertarian" attitude is that Foreign Aid is like pounding sand down a rathole. Please expand on your thoughts.

Well stated Steven... It's all about politics, or should I say "power", and who is acountable to who.....

And until governments are accountable to their people, there will never be true change in these countries and money we send will fall into the hands of corrupt politicians.
