The tax cut Bush got through and the rebate benefitted me. I'm hardly a super rich type. I've got a wife and two kids to support and run my own small business.....

Ah, good. Thanks. Krugman deals with that argument by noting that the first round of tax cuts does exactly as you suggest. It's the later rounds--don't recall when they kick in--which are overwhelmingly directed toward folk making over $250,000 in annual income. If that gets you, then you will get some; if not, and you're like me, well down the pole, you will get little or none.
