Do you buy that guy's solution for the bust -- ease borrowing restrictions -- call off the dogs -- etc.? Isn't that what Japan has been trying for years -- deny there was a bubble and throw more paper after the bad debts already out there?? I remember when you thought there might be a margin increase some years ago -- was this at the same time these guys were testifying in congress about the same?? And re: biz cycles -- how do you know that banking policy isn't the primary cause? How do you control for that variable?
