...more and more, people want stocks that have businesses behind them that pay dividends regularly and faithfully... Perhaps if we had a change in the double taxation of dividends... Until then, MSFT, DELL and others will just buy back stock if they don't have a good place to reinvest their income - it's better for their shareholders.
