T - think there are 3 very strong reasons to buy T: 1. merger with comcast, T holders will get cmcsa shares, which i view as very attractive 2. aol deal fro TWE share (Time Warner Entertainment) - getting AOL stock at cheap price, 2-4 billion, and stake in TWX cable system 3. T as reliable enterprise long distance and data network company, especially as wcom, global crossing and all the clec have gone bk. government and big businesses want dependable data and phone carriers, not ones in bk. yes, chart, earnings, management, etc stink. armstrong should scrub toilets at mcdonalds. but I think that comcast will become the the premier cable company despite him, and they will use their expertise to straighten up T's cable system. jmho. larry
