The real key problem here is not conquering these clowns. It is putting something in place that is worth the effort and is ready to install before we go in. Yeah. "Which Crook Do You Trust?" Could be a TV show. And reamember, it may not be just these clowns you have to conquer. What about all those jihaddim pouring in from all over the Arab world? I also don't think that block by block street fighting is a strong likelihood. Why not? They'd be defending their own homes and people. They'd probably fare better at it than exposed on the surrounding countryside. It blunts the US technological superiority. And it will provide Saddam with wonderful propaganda footage of dead civilians. The one mistake I think we made in Afghanistan (and it may have been unavoidable) is teaming up with rapists and pillagers to retake Kabul and Kandahar. They may have been the only options Yeah. So who else is available? Vaclav Havel already has a job.
