As for risk, last time I checked authoring a long article or a book was a vast ego risk. I'm certain you've seen folk devastated by bad reviews. Words fail me. Do you by any chance actually know (in the real world, not cyberspace) (in the sense of being a friend or a close acquaintance) anyone who owns their own business? The number of right wingers on my faculty has nothing whatsoever to do with that argument. It has a lot to do with my argument. I am genuinely curious. My guess, from the fact that you haven't said otherwise, is that the answer is no.
