Neo we don't agree much on politics but I am glad to see you understand what democracy is all about. Too bad some of the RWEs don't.

Too much civility is hazardous to the health of this republic.

At some point a jerk crosses the line into aiding and abetting the enemies of this republic. Intentional distortion of news articles and Administration policy, imputing criminal motives to each action of our government, posting outright lies and fabrications......these actions do not constitute debate and they are not the actions of a jerk but of a traitor.....

Its time to call a spade a spade. We have men in harm's way risking their lives to maintain our liberty. It is not right to give aid and comfort to our enemies. That is what these kinds of statements do.

The United States Constitution:

Article III
Section 3. Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted

Well I find jla has always understood the differences between a jerk and a traitor. The next question is how do we know who the jerks are who don't know the difference between their fellow jerks and traitors.

I think the retailing of various crackpot anti-Bush conspiracy theories and outright lies and distortions of Administration policy and action also falls into that category.jla #reply-17897929

A very good way to understands the differences between a jerk and a traitor. I think a jerk would not agree with jla's rule.
