There is a new Zhang Yimou film out (I am blanking on the name), that I hope to see on the screen. I would like to finally get around to "Monsoon Wedding", which I understand is very rich. I missed "Amelie" in the theaters, and so want to rent that. Did you ever see "wild Man Blues". It was a documentary of a series of jazz concerts Woody Allen did in Europe with some traditional New Orleans- style jazz musicians. Soon Yi was in it, and it was rather fascinating. For one thing, she clearly mothered him, despite their age difference. Rather than a dirty old man, who came off as a perpetual teen who needed looking after.......
