No- I totally agree with you. Its just that after all this carnage in the stock market, insider selling just aint what it used to be as a predictor.

I respectfully disagree. In a bear market insider selling tells a lot! If company A's stock has dropped by lets say 75% or more, you would think insiders at best would start buying their own shares (or at worst stop selling what they already have)!

When an insider has made over $1 billion in selling his own options, what would it matter for him to at least hold on to his remaining options in a bear market (if he really thinks his company will come through OK)! Ross Perot once said, what does it matter if you have 1 Billion or $100 Billion. There comes a time that it wont matter anymore!

I give you Go America (symbol GOAM). The stock was trading at $16/shr back in 99. Insiders sold and share holders bought more! The stock dropped to $3/shr, and insiders kept selling. I wondered about that as why the hell these people were selling despite their upbeat mesage at every earnings conference call! Well.... guess what? Today the stock is selling at 30 cents a share, and guess what? Insiders are still selling! :)

BRCM is in the same class as GOAmerica in my view! :)
