He is uneven, but that is not really news. "Husband and Wives" was great, "Mighty Aphrodite" was okay, but overrated, "Celebrity" was poor, but "Sweet and Lowdown" was very good. And so forth. Interestingly, part of the visitation case came before a judge I know, Phyllis Jacob, not that she said much about it. I remember seeing "Manhattan" after all of this broke. It is one of my favorite films, and I wanted to see how I was affected. It practically ruined the film for me at that time, but a few years later, I enjoyed it in the usual way again.......
