The best thing about the Cioppino is that it is in a huge pot and you serve yourself- the first time I was not aware of the best technique- but then I saw it practiced. What you do is scoop all the best stuff up from the bottom- so you aren't buying tomato liquid, and you are mostly buying crab and mussels and fish and clams.
