The NEA does not want that name used. "Not right to assign blame until they have been legally convicted. someone might get their feelings hurt." Phew!

That's why I assumed that Washington Times piece took things out of context. No reason I can imagine why the NEA would not mention Al Qaeda. Particularly, since the text read as a sermon on not assuming all Muslims are not guilty for Al Qaeda's deeds.

But I'm not interested in pursuing it. The NEA or some such could have done it. The blemish that bothers me is editing the texts of well known writers for New York State regents exam.
