Funny that you weren't willing to spell out den Beste's name, but you didn't have any problem with dumping the somewhat politically incorrect term "strawman". I assumed someone would catch the "straw person" bit. I confess, I did it to provoke. I thought Bill would be first off the bat. A little surprised you are. As for dB, my fingers were getting tired and I was a bit afraid I would misspell his name and Scowcroft's (Sc). I intended to parallel the two. I don't recall the post all that well--been posting way too much today--so I may not have been as good as my intentions.
