well, his 24/7 trashing of liberals prompts the same response from me.

WHAT ABOUT YOUR 24/7 trashing of conservatives & the Bush Administration? You are somehow trying to suggest that I bash liberals more than you bash conservatives, and this simply isn't the case.

I think he works real hard at being slanderous and confrontive, and its by intent, not by chance.

You're entitled to your opinion. While it is true I am "confrontive", it is only when I see unreasoned arguments being presented here (or elsewhere) as though they were informed or based on fact. Obviously, you are not aware of the definition of "Slander", which requires malicious intent, and that is certainly not present.

there is no question of Ray's intent.

This remark is ridiculous (you might even say "slanderous") on its face. "Intent" is, by its nature, very difficult to know (which is why, in the law, anytime it is necessary to prove "intent" the prosecution has a very difficult time doing so).

You saw how quickly my repetitive posting of the UK party leader's negative Bush comments annoyed Ray

You have no obligation to respond to my posts at all. If you do, I think it is reasonable for me to expect you to at least use your tiny little mind, rather than some childish remark from god knows where. The recent exchange concerning Clinton's lying is a perfect example -- you simply are not able to articulate well-reasoned arguments, and that is why I gave up that topic.

Its only recently that I have run into a Ray or a Coulter or a Kudlow who are blindly loyal, mindlessly goose stepping partisans of the Rep. party.

What do you even know about Ray or Coulter or Kudlow? You certainly don't carefully read my posts, and you've made it clear you don't read anything from Coulter. Hell, I read liberals books routinely in my effort to maintain a reasoned, balanced look at things. Not you -- if you THINK you don't agree with it, that's it. Not a very sensible way to view the world. Your choice, of course.

My views are not out of "blind loyalty" -- they are out of living and observing. Over 50 years, I have concluded that Liberals, while they serve a purpose, are not as a group (a) analytical, (b) people of integrity, or (c) capable of good government. This doesn't mean ALL liberals, as there are certainly liberals who are all three of these things; but I find the characteristics of liberals to be different from those of conservatives. I more readily identify with those of conservatives, and happen to think that for the most part conservatives have a more intelligent view of the world. So WHAT is your complaint?
