Bill: You think by going into Iraq and killing some people and keeping troops in Iraq for a decade that the issue is dead? On the contrary, we are most vulnerable when we are there. Most of the groups that hate us have a hard time getting over here and organizing to the point of really hurting us -- but over there is a different story. Over there you have simple but deadly car bombs -- truck bombs -- -- rocket launchers -- daily suicide bombers -- snipers -- land mines -- blowing up of buildings by various means, etc., etc..... The war on terrorism does not end when we enter Iraq -- it merely begins a risky new chapter called "Come here little American boy -- a little closer, a little closer -- thats it". The terrorists want war. They want it wherever they can get it -- between the States of the former Soviet Union, between Palestinians and Israelis, but Pakistan and India -- but most of all, they want war that will draw Americans onto their turf.
